Bramah and the Beggar Boy is an epic fantasy in verse about a female locksmith and an orphan beggar boy who travel through time, helping survivors in a world ravaged by climate change. Along the way, they use cunning and magic to outwit the evil Consortium and offer their help to seed savers and outcasts in a world ravaged by climate change and global disorder.

About Our Guest

Renée Saklikar practised law for several years before committing to a life of poetry and writing. She graduated from the Writers Studio of the Continuing Studies Department at Simon Fraser University in 2010. She is the author of Children of Air India, Un/authorized Exhibits and Interjections, which won the 2014 Canadian Authors Association Award for Poetry, and was also a finalist for the Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize.
