Gather online and in person on Earth Day, April 22nd for a Mother Earth Day–Jubilee 2025 Prayer Service. As part of Together for the Love of Creation Earth Week, join Indigenous Minister Rev. Tony Snow and others for a time of prayer on United Nations International Mother Earth Day.
To honour and respect our Mother Earth, we will reflect on the bounty we have been freely given, and what we have done to her body and her soul. We will raise prayers from our Indigenous and Interfaith traditions to remind ourselves that we are stewards and caretakers of the land for all Creation. As we commemorate this Jubilee year in many faiths, may we extend this grace and mercy to all who dwell in Creation. This event is open to everyone.
Rev. Tony Snow, a member of the Stoney Nakoda First Nation, serves as Indigenous Minister for the Chinook Winds Region of The United Church of Canada and is active in many For the Love of Creation (FLC) efforts including its ecumenical COP delegations.
