Mission and Service is the way we as a United Church witness to God’s love. —Islington United Church
Mission and Service volunteers are people who are ready to spread the word about the great work that’s being done by the United Church of Canada through Mission and Service.
Volunteers are “on the ground” in communities of faith. They tell our stories, making more and more people aware of just how life-changing Mission and Service is! And volunteering is a two-way street. We want to keep improving how we share Mission and Service through materials like our e-newsletter, our Facebook page, and our videos—so volunteers play an important part by letting us know about what resources work in their communities of faith.
Mission and Service volunteers can choose the work they want to do and the amount of time they are able to spend. They are provided with resources (like the documents at the bottom of this page), training, and information, along with support from Philanthropy Unit staff whenever they need it.
It’s easy to take the next step to become a Mission and Service volunteer. Just call us at 1-800-465-3771 or email .
What do you feel called to do? There’s a place for you!
