The Westville 100: Supporting Food for Focus

On June 21, 2025, Rev. Dr. Mary Taylor, minister at St. Paul United Church in Westville, NS, will walk 100 kilometers in a single day to raise $30,000 for the Food for Focus program—a local initiative providing weekend food support to 15 families, including 53 children, through a partnership with Schools Plus and Walter Duggan Elementary School.

This community-wide event invites others to walk alongside Mary for any portion of the route, donate, or cheer her on from the sidelines. It’s a celebration of compassion in action and a bold commitment to caring for our neighbours.

As the incoming President of the Bermuda-Nova Scotia Region, Rev. Dr. Mary Taylor created this event to reflect the church’s enduring mission of social justice and community care.
