The Moderator’s perspective in her own words.
As Moderator, The Right Rev. Dr. Carmen Lansdowne publicly represents The United Church of Canada, and in her role, offers spiritual leadership to adherents and is a moral beacon to the wider audience outside the church.
The Moderator has an annual schedule of liturgical and celebratory videos in which she offers an inspirational message to the United Church family. She also often records region-specific videos for special meetings, and actively uses stories and reels on social media.
As an avid reader and writer, she also blogs, offering commentary on current news, national news and global affairs.
