A Place at the Table: Edmonton

As we mark our centennial, we reimagine Da Vinci’s Last Supper as a representation of our faith community: one committed to welcoming people of all backgrounds, identities and experiences. Whoever you are, there is always a place for you here at the table.

Through A Place at the Table, we aim to spark curiosity and spiritual reflection this Christmas season.

Table
We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gathered for retreat and to take this photograph is the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the q̓íc̓əy̓ people.

A place at the table proclaims: no matter who you are or where you come from, you belong.

It is more than an invitation, it’s a promise.

A promise that identity, story and culture are not barriers but blessings.

That faith meets people where they are. And that all have a place at the table.

This is what belonging looks like.
