We ask for your prayers for United Church and all community members in Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation (Treaty 4, Saskatchewan) as they reel from an act of violence and grieve a tragic series of deaths.
“May God have mercy,” says Moderator Carmen Lansdowne. “And may the community be blessed with support from across our lands.”
In this most difficult time, we extend deep condolences to those who have lost loved ones, and ask for comfort for all who are afraid.
As news continues to unfold, we seek guidance for community leaders and for an end without further violence.
