The General Council Office (GCO) wishes you peace and joy this Christmas season. We are now closed for the holidays and will be back at work on Friday, January 2, 2026.

As of the new year, we will officially be operational at our new temporary office at 50 Wynford Drive in Toronto, where the GCO will share space in the national offices of The Presbyterian Church in Canada, as the ongoing construction of the United Church’s future home at 300 Bloor St. West continues into 2026. Please continue to use the 3250 Bloor St. W. address for mailing, as we have arranged mail forwarding.

Christmas Services

A United Church near you will be open for in-person worship this Christmas, and many also offer livestreamed or pre-recorded online services to view at home. Find locations and contact info for local churches across the country using find a location.

In her 2025 Christmas Message, Moderator Kimberly Heath wishes us comfort and joy, reminding us that part of the Christmas story is finding peace, and setting a place at the table for all, amid confusion and distress.
