"God is with us! We are not alone."
Advent begins on Sunday, November 29!
As we prepare for the coming of Christ, we are reminded that the Christmas story began in the midst of uncertain circumstances yet became a story of hope for the world. How can we extend similar invitations to hope in our neighbourhoods and communities?
Listen to the Moderator's Advent message and discover seasonal resources that may help your community share God’s welcome throughout Advent and Christmas.

Blue Christmas
Our Blue Christmas services offer quiet, supportive worship for people who have experienced loss or feel it especially deeply at Christmas. That loss might be a loved one, a relationship, good health, a job, or a cherished dream.
Through silence, prayer, readings, and candle lighting, the service makes room for grief without pressure to feel cheerful. Its central message is that sorrow belongs here too, and people are not alone: God’s presence and the care of others remain with them.
