Donate to support Kenyans using nature-based solutions to increase food security and ensure sustainable livelihoods in communities affected by climate change.

The National Council of Churches of Kenya is working with communities to help them absorb and adapt to climate shocks. The program teaches sustainable use of biodiversity with livelihoods like beekeeping, as well as land and water management, like tree-planting and reshaping existing trees to increase shade and conserve water. Farmers, young mothers, churches and schools reach those most affected. The program goal is to engage 3,200 participants and help 11,200 people.

This project is supported by The United Church of Canada and the Canadian Foodgrains Bank.
