Theme or Focus
The addition of a picnic table for our front lawn will be enjoyed and accommodate everyone, especially those who have limited physical ability. We serve refreshments on our front lawn after our Sunday Church Service, social gatherings, and group meetings. This will also give a quiet space for people passing by from our local businesses and grocery store. This picnic table will enhance our Affirming Bench and welcome sign which are located at the front entrance.
Expected Launch Date
What did you do?
Our Property Brothers laid a patio and built the picnic table on the front lawn of Trinity United Church. We had an Appreciation Luncheon to celebrate the completion of our accessibility washroom. Our Organic Harmony and Uke Group entertainment is from our picnic table!
Why did you do it?
We had an Appreciation Luncheon to celebrate the completion of our Accessible Washroom. We also installed accessible front doors which provide total accessibility on our main floor. Now we can fully support the many community groups who use our facilities and value their partnership with Trinity United Church.
