100 Tables: Saint David's United Church

What did you do?

Saint David's United in Rothesay held our blessing of our tables on July 13th after service, where we served a frozen treat to all.  On Wednesday, July 16th our tables were the pick up location for our free "Food for the Journey" meal program for seniors in the community and families in need. Over the last few years food security has become a primary outreach focus for us. When selecting the right picnic table for our community, we felt one table did not fully represent our community and the ministries we offer and the decision was made to have two tables, one regular sized and one child's sized. Our tables are a great place to welcome all, and have been a topic of conversation in the community.
