100 Tables: Memorial United Portugal Cove

What did you do?

For Halloween we planned to decorate our picnic table and hand out treats to the local children. Unfortunately, the wind was too high (it is Newfoundland!) and we had to change plans and use one of our regular tables in the more sheltered church entrance.

Why did you do it?

We hoped to engage with the children (and parents) who live in the area of the church. We did make contact with a family new to the area who had been wondering about the church.
