What We Did
We purchased two tables: one became a donation from two of our members, and one table was purchased on behalf of the 100 Tables project. We are thankful for this gift. Both tables were placed on our front lawn, where we invite folks to use them as a gathering place to make connections: come eat your lunch, read a book, have a coffee or just sit and be. Thank you, 100 Tables.
Why We Did It
We are always looking for ways to be a part of the community and for them to be a part of us. The tables help us to be present in more ways than one. Being that we host outdoor activities, we knew the tables would be used to enhance our events, so it was a win-win for us. We are always looking for ways to welcome the community into our midst and to engage the community in knowing we are here.
