What We Did
Over the course of two Sunday mornings, our Sunday School children and youth poured their creativity into decorating a special table with a powerful theme: "All are Welcome." Positioned just outside the doors of Westennial Hall, this table sits at the heart of our community's daily rhythm. It is a space shared by our congregation and the many community groups that gather in the hall throughout the week. On Sunday mornings, it served an extra special purpose as the gathering point for our outdoor Sunday School. Through this project, our young people didn't just paint a table—they built connections with one another, with our broader community, and with God’s beautiful earth around us.
Why We Did It
We wanted to have a space where people could gather and enjoy time outside with each other in God's world. It has helped to foster connections with all ages and further a sense of community.
