What did you do?
We launched our table with a lunch after worship on August 3rd. We welcomed back congregation members and friends after our July "Sabbath," friends from our neighbour church, summer visitors, and newcomers. We also had a few friends from the neighbourhood join us. We chose a portable table, based on the size of our green space. We are going to take the table on the road, meeting our neighbours around town for connections and conversations. Stay tuned!
Why did you do it?
We wanted to do a welcome back Sunday after our month of "Sabbath" rest in July, and it seemed a great idea to connect that with the launch of our table. In addition to activities on our green space, our table will travel throughout Kenora, engaging our neighbours in conversation.
