What We Did
We are still in process of creating the table, but it will be part of a reconciliation ceremony in conjunction with our revitalized labyrinth. The plan is to invite local Indigenous leaders to walk the labyrinth with us. The labyrinth has two paths for entry, allowing Indigenous and Emmanuel persons to walk their path and join in the centre.
The tabletop will have images and messages related to our reconciliation, including things like red dresses, the red hand symbolizing MMIWGs, as well as other encouraging messages of hope.
Why We Did It
We wanted to bring the two projects together to have a more powerful impact.
We can share more information and images once the project is finished, but the estimated date will be April 20, when we plan to have the unveiling ceremony.
