What We Did
We put out our table up with booklets on the Alberta referendum questions in plain English, with what they mean and what their implications are. We popped them into a ziploc bag with a note to say that they were free to anyone.
Why We Did It
We are right across the street from the polling station, and we plan to serve soup and coffee, and offer bathroom breaks if necessary, to folks while we hold their spot in the line. All part of supporting the common good and practicing radical hospitality for our community.
