The Vancouver School of Theology (VST) is conducting a search at the Associate or Full Professor level for The Rev. John Ralph and Elisabeth Letitia Baker Butler Chair of Homiletics and Biblical Interpretation.

Candidates will have a PhD/ThD in Homiletics with a focus in biblical interpretation understood in a broad sense, linked with biblical, theological, and/or pastoral studies.

A  commitment to teaching in a diverse ecumenical context who can furnish a record of scholarly research, conference participation and an established profile of publication is required.

Preference will be given to applicants from either the United or Anglican Churches of Canada, or one of their global analogues, and candidates who will add to the ethnic, racial, and gender/sexual diversity of the faculty. In accordance with Canadian law, priority will be given to Canadian applicants.
