Emerging Spirit is an exciting initiative of The United Church of Canada focused on establishing and nurturing a relationship between the United Church and Canadians aged 30-45.

Emerging Spirit holds up to 24 Living the Welcome congregational training events around the country each year to help prepare congregations develop welcoming ministries.

* for the events.
Living the Welcome events are designed for congregational teams
* made up of a paid, accountable staff person plus other key lay leaders. The number of team members is to be based on average worship attendance, with approximately 3-5 team members per 100 worshippers.
